Star Plus' daily soap" Saraswatichandra " going off air?

Star Plus' daily soap Saraswatichandra that began with a huge fanfare mainly because of ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's association with it hasn't been able to keep the audiences' interest alive. It has rolled down the TRP charts and lately it was speculated that the channel is planning to pull it off air. It was also learnt that the production house isn't making the payments on time because of which the artists are reluctant about working in the show and it may thus come to an end.

                               

However, the show's male lead Gautam Rode, recently shared that all these are mere rumors. "I have no idea why people are talking about the show being pulled off. As of now, I cannot comment because I have been very busy with the show and nothing has been informed to me. And if we have been busy with the episodes, how can it go off air?", questioned the talented actor, who has garnered a lot of appreciation for the portrayal of his character in the show.

Gautam, who is also known for his superb anchoring skills, may also be seen playing the host in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye. "I think I will be hosting Nach Baliye this year as well. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, talks are on with the producers", he stated.

Gautam also shared that though he has been getting a lot of Bollywood offers he would rather like to stick to the small screen for the time being. "Let's see what the future holds for me.
